Tom Cruise has revealed that he had a 'decoy' baby Suri to trick the media. The 'Mission: Impossible III' actor says that in efforts to protect his infant daughter from the media, he had a doll made to resemble baby Suri, according to reports.

Not only did Cruise and Holmes keep the baby from the media for several months, but they actually had a doll created to be a 'Suri decoy'!

Meanwhile, Katie Holmes has revealed that all the terrible rumors about her young daughter Suri are "heartbreaking".

Discrepancy on Suri Cruise Birth Certificate - Nurse's License Number is Invalid

The same nurse who signed the birth certificate for Tom Cruise's daughter Suri also signed the birth certificate for Brooke Shields' daughter Grier, but there's an interesting discrepancy.

Both babies were born on April 18 at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica. Anne Heffernan is the registered nurse who signed both birth certificates. As TMZ reported Monday, Heffernan, who never saw Suri, signed her birth certificate. A hospital rep says Heffernan is authorized to sign when a doctor is not available.

On the Suri Cruise certificate [link to PDF of certificate], Heffernan's license number is G48079. On the Grier Henchy certificate [link to PDF of certificate], Heffernan's license number is different -- G068399. TMZ checked with the California Board of Registered Nursing and we were told Heffernan's license number didn't match either of the birth certificates. A Board rep told TMZ Hefferman's license number is 317058.

And it gets more interesting. The Board of Registered Nursing told TMZ the license number on Grier's certificate comes back to a Dorothy Rork. The license number on Suri's birth certificate is a mystery. There is no name attached to that license number.

By the way, unlike Suri's birth certificate, Brooke Shields signed the one for her daughter. Someone listed as "Friend" signed the certificate for Suri.

Also, the hospital's policy is to file birth certificates with L.A. County within 10 days of birth. In the case of Suri, it took 20 days to file, in part because the "friend" didn't sign for 16 days. In Grier's case, Brooke herself signed two days after her birth and the certificate was filed nine days after the baby was born.

TMZ placed multiple calls to St. John's. So far, no comment.

According to my sources, a photo shoot of Suri was offered to Wire Image, the prestigious agency, for sale to the various celebrity magazines right after the little "Mission: Impossible"/"Dawson's Creek" tyke was born in silence to her unmarried movie star parents Tom Cruise and the dazed-looking Katie Holmes.

An auction was conducted, with People, Us Weekly, Star and the lesser names like In Touch all putting in their two cents.

The Cruise auction is said to have produced not more than a $3 million bid. At that point, the offer was rescinded. The mission was termed "impossible." No further word was heard from the Cruise camp.

Exactly who from Cruise's strange inner circle initiated the contact is still unknown, although I am told the enterprise was "official." It's likely that the Church of Scientology would have gotten a cut, too, considering they like to take 10 percent of everything from their celebrity clients.

I just read this from the Daily MailUK - so I can't confirm the exact dollar amount, as it is stated in Pounds, but it looks like the Cruise/Holmes camp has agreed on a pre-nuptual agreement:

After weeks of legal wrangling, she and Cruise have signed a £22million pre-nuptial agreement. An £8million trust has already been set up for Miss Holmes, 27, and the couple's two-week-old daughter Suri, regardless of whether the couple marry or not.

Sources say if they do marry and later divorce, Miss Holmes will receive an additional £14million from Cruise, who is said to be worth £250million.

The pre-nuptial agreement has been the subject of intense negotiations between Cruise's lawyers and Miss Holmes's father Martin, a divorce solicitor.

The discussions took so long the couple's plans to marry before their daughter was born had to be put on hold.

The wedding date has now been set for July. And with financial arrangements finally agreed, tension between Cruise and his strict Catholic in-laws-to-be has lessened.

"They were shocked that Katie got pregnant so quickly and did not like the way she had turned her back on Catholicism for Scientology. "But now this deal has been sorted out they are at least relieved that Katie and her baby will be financially secure for life, even if she doesn't marry Tom.

If these accusations are true (I'm on the fence here...even through I think the Pinkett-Smiths are wierd, this could just be a shameless ploy for press from a nobody) then their affectionate connection with Tom Cruise would further back up my theory that the entertaining couple are in fact Scientologists, or at least courting the cult - as much as one can court Scientology.

The National Ledger has posted an article culminating several theories about the mysterious cult pregnancy of Katie Holmes:

--Katie has already had the baby and is using a prop for her pregnancy
--Katie was never pregnant and the couple are set to adopt.
--Katie is ten months pregnant so it must be fake.
No Charlie Sheen didn't make these up - at least that's not alleged. But the most recent photos show a huge Katie - and here comes the conspiracies. Payton O'Brien writes on Gamblin911, "The gig is up. Has anyone ever seen a past-due pregnant woman look like this? She has a thin face, thin arms, and walks upright, as if she's carrying a lightweight pillow."

And Save Dakota Fanning thinks there are two Katies walking around - the real one and a decoy.

Conspiracy: The Scientologists will continue to amaze and terrify the public with bizarre antics by Tom Cruise balanced by seemingly "normal" antics by the Travoltas and the Fat Actress. Result? There has been a recent attempt to crack down on Hollywood underage drinking -
yet now Lohan can make open statements to the press about sending over drinks?
And if you say "well that doesn't mean she was drinking" you're as gullible as Katie Holmes.

To be clear, I could care less if the drinking age was lowered. I think it SHOULD be lowered, and I think pot should be legal. But until then, let's ditch the double standard, and start holding public figures to a higher standard, shall we? Forget higher standard - a LEGAL standard would suffice.

I actually really liked CRASH - and thought it was much lass cliche than Brokeback, and had greater respect & sympathy for "groups" who are particularly judged by others.

Everyone in Hollywood gushed about it when it came out, and then come Brokeback they all acted like they never saw the film or went on high-minded tirades about cultural equality and prejudice.

Regardless, Paul Haggis is a Scientologist - and the Oscar upset raised some eyebrows. Here's a list of some thoughts as to way Crash won and Brokeback didn't.

Scientology has had it rough the past few months - first TomKat, then TomKat, then Isaac Hayes, and now the cult is being blamed for the murder of a mother by her scizophrenic son. Both were Scientologists, and the son was being treated at the Centre.

Cruise and Scientology have been in the news lately because of an allegedly censored “South Park” parody of the religion — and now Scientology and the “Top Gun” star are being blamed for a woman’s death.
“Thanks, Tom Cruise and the Church of Scientology, for your expert advice on mental health,” blasts an ad in LA Weekly. The ad goes on to say that a woman was killed “by the schizophrenic son she was told to treat with vitamins instead of psychiatric care.”

The LA Times has a great article about Scientology today. LA Observed chimes in their own 2 cents about why Tom Cruise is a Cult Machine not to be stopped.

In today's LAT, reporters Claire Hoffman and Kim Christensen, with photographer Don Kelsen, update the Scientology phenomenon by looking at how according to disgruntled ex-members Tom Cruise was recruited and trained to become the best tool for bringing in new members (or customers, if you prefer.) The story focuses on the church's high-living, luxury-loving leader David Miscavige, who recently saluted Cruise as "the most dedicated Scientologist I know," and the 500-acre nerve center at Gilman Hot Springs in Riverside County where Cruise and Nicole Kidman spent much time in private training sessions. The Times photog got inside somehow.

As I posted earlier this month, there is a strange connection between Bennifer II and Starbucks. Looks like the MSM is picking up on their continual trips to the coffee chain. Check out the Lloyd Grove piece questioning their motives.

A Lowdown spy reports that the caffeinated couple has snagged an exclusive "seven-figure" contract with Starbucks Coffee Co. to drink, be photographed with and generally promote the popular java around the country.
"It's a relatively new deal," says the insider. "And considering how often they are photographed with the stuff, I'd say they're working pretty hard."

Scientology Crop Circles in New Mexico

L. Ron Hubbard strikes again, attempting to create a pseudo-religious presence. The Washington Post reports about strange crop circles in New Mexico that mark the spot of a secret Scientology bunker/tunnel/cult place.

The church tried to persuade station KRQE not to air its report last week about the aerial signposts marking a Scientology compound that includes a huge vault "built into a mountainside," the station said on its Web site. The tunnel was constructed to protect the works of L. Ron Hubbard, the late science-fiction writer who founded the church in the 1950s.

The archiving project, which the church has acknowledged, includes engraving Hubbard's writings on stainless steel tablets and encasing them in titanium capsules.

Much like what I believe to be a profitable partnership between Starbucks and certain caffene guzzling celebrities, I'm thinking the same is true with supermarkets & celebs.

Earlier this summer we endured a rash images capturing starlets pushing carts of groceries. (mainly Jessica Alba - right before she became the new media IT girl, and Ben/Jen before they were purchased by Starbucks) And now we have Paris (who is clearly at Smart & Final) heaving gigantic boxes of brand-name snack food into her cart.

You need to understand this. Paris Hilton would only do her own grocery shopping IF:
1. she was stoned
2. she was wasted
3. she was with her boyfriend who was stoned/wasted and she wanted to make him happy
4. she needs a good photo op of her being a "real" person to smooth over an earlier bad press moment (i.e. crashing her Bentley)
5. she is getting back at someone by seeming domestic - or happy - or domestically happy (i.e. Nicole Richie)
6. General Mills & Kraft's PR Department called her up and promised $$$ if she would just go to the store and look really excited about buying cereal.

I'm going with a combination of 6 + 4 + 3, but you can decide for yourself.

Conspiracy: Food chains are getting a bad rap in sales because everyone is starving themselves. Food chains haven't yet tapped into the massive PR opps involving celebs at their stores. However, grocery stores are catching on (at least here in LA) and are tipping off the photogs to get in on the action. Plus, notice how their always filling their carts to the top with TONS of food? There's no "run in for a gallon of milk" pics - its buy buy buy and more more more.

Three gunmen in a speeding car killed a lawyer for a co-defendant in
Saddam Hussein's trial and wounded another Tuesday in Baghdad, a member of the defense team and police said. It was the second assassination of a Saddam defense team lawyer in less than a month.
...On Oct. 20, Saadoun al-Janabi, was abducted from his office by 10 masked gunmen, a day after he attended the first session of the trial, acting as the lawyer for co-defendant Awad al-Bandar.
Al-Janabi's body, with two bullet shots to the head, was found hours later on a sidewalk near Fardous Mosque in the eastern neighborhood of Ur in Baghdad, near the site of his office.

Variety reports today that Tom Cruise has axed his Scientologist sister and has moved on to Paul Bloch from Rogers & Cowan.

Tom Cruise has hired veteran publicist and Rogers and Cowan co-chairman Paul Bloch to handle his publicity activities, including those for Cruise-Wagner Prods.

Paul Bloch is also John Travolta's publicist. Cruise's sister, Lee Anne DeVette will take over his charitable endeavors.

DeVette said: "I know how important Tom's charitable goals are to him, and I look forward to assisting in raising the profile of the good works that he does on behalf of children's health issues, mentoring, literacy and other social reforms, as well as the general betterment of the human condition."

I'm not really sure what to expect here. I imagine Paul Bloch will tell Tom to chill out already and just focus on making movies. Katie should avoid the Jen Garner / Brittany Spears approach to dragging her pregnancy all over the press. I bet we'll see a lot more charitable work from the couple a la John & Kelly.

The depression is already setting in for Katie Holmes. Just a few months ago she was looking fab for all her 'outings' with Tom Cruise. Their latest soccer game tells a different story.

Plus, how much are they being paid by the press for all these drama-free, friendly paparrazi sessions? It's not a coincidence folks. Its a smart business deal.
Its more Jen that is the poster woman for the coffee company than Ben. So what message is this sending to expectant mothers?? Go to Starbucks for your cravings...coffee is ok to drink when you're pregnant...

Prego women are a big demographic in America right now. Starbucks is smart to infuse themselves with the daily happenings of moms and moms to be.
